“39% of adults aged 18 years and over were overweight in 2016, and 13% were obese. Most of the world’s population live in countries where overweight and obesity kills more people than underweight.”
These are very shocking facts; they should be a warning sign!
We all recognise this one day, a stressful workday, a lot to learn or simply no time to stand in the kitchen cooking for hours. But healthy nourishment is so fundamental, and there for I have useful tips and motivations to enhance your diet.

YOUR MIND SETTING IS THE KEY TO SUCESS
How to eat healthy for a long period of time? How to be successful? or How to build a habit? These are the important question I have asked myself. The solution are your eating habits. If you have the chance to change our environment, it is so easy to eat fresh and proper nutrition.
TIPS: – Find out your because! – Buy good food (fruits, vegetables) – Get rid of “bad” nutriment – Eat enough, do not starve! – Plan your meal

DAYS, WEEKS, MONTHS OR YEARS – GIVE YOURSELFE TIME!
You can’t change your whole life in a short period of time! Minor steps make the long-term effort. Keep this in mind! I haven’t been eating groceries for about 3 years. It took me about 6 months to replace this habit. Especially in stressful times it’s difficult to maintain this habit, I don’t always succeed. But as I told you in my last post: “Minor step backs are part of the game.” What is important is to keep our eyes on the horizon and to keep working towards it.

DO NOT FORGET O LIVE YOUR LIFE! – EXPECTION RATHER THAN THE RULE

If we change our eating habit, sometimes you might be too strict to yourself. Nothing is black or white! Sugar isn’t the healthiest, but it doesn’t mean you’re never allowed to eat a cake. Don’t associate bad feelings with your diet, you would take away so much life quality.
80:20 Rule! If you eat 80% of your day healthy, you can cheat 20% – without guilty conscience.
All in all, it can be said, that building a healthy eating habit is a long-term process and minor step backs are a major part of this movement. Keep in mind the 80:20 rule and nothing is black or white. I am sure you can implement some tips in your daily life and get rid of eating only fast food or processed food. One day or day one – you decide! So, what are you waiting for!
